Industrialism...

How do you combat poverty? Can government be effective in attacking the social ills associated with deep and lasting hunger? Should institutions other than government be more responsible for interrupting cycles of poverty? Are such questions still relevant today?

To combat poverty a person must be willing to accept it ,then have the attitude to change it . the governmernt can be effective becasue it can establish prograsm to assistance the poor and starving. Yes other institution othe rhtan the govermmetn should be responsible becasue to end hunger and decreased poverty it taeks a nation not just one group of people
